        In pansy Oedipus there comes a point in the bring in where Oedipus learns some intimacy that plays an important role throughout the play. He learns from a prophesier that he will eventually kill his knowledge amaze and sleep with his own mother. As one could surmise this is a stripe to Oedipus, and he does not believe the oracle.
